Situated on the outskirts of Abbey Village and Withnell,
The Pepperpot Catering Co. is also located
just off Junction 3 of the M65
at Higher Stanworth Farm
Bolton Road, PR6 8BP.
Set within 84 acres of rolling meadows and woodland,
our semi-rural location is surrounded by
stunning panoramic views of open countryside.
With scenery reaching as far as Longridge Fells,
Pendle Hill, and Roddlesworth Moors, our peaceful, picturesque setting means we are perfectly positioned to provide all of your catering needs.
During the renovation process of Higher Stanworth Farm,
we unearthed an allotment that had unfortunately
become buried underground
through too many years of neglect.
Excited about the prospect of restoring
the family farm back to its former glory,
we dug out and rediscovered the plots
that had once been built with beautiful red brick
sourced locally from the now closed
Withnell Brick and Terracotta Company.
Now, with a lot of TLC the Orchard & Allotments are absolutely thriving here at Higher Stanworth Farm.
About Us
STEPHEN AINSWORTH & DEBORAH PRESTON
Having worked in the Hospitality industry for many years,
The Pepperpot Catering Company was born out of the desire to work with only the most natural,
wholesome and responsibly sourced ingredients.
Stephen is a professional Head Chef,
and has a trained background in various environments,
including menu development, outdoor catering,
corporate events, and has also diversified into delivering
live cookery classes and demonstrations.
Stephen spent his childhood growing up
in the gorgeous village of Silverdale, Lancashire.
As a young boy, he would often make his way through
Eaves Wood and climb up
King William's Hill, because situated right at the very top,
sits a little stone monument called
The Pepperpot
Here, he would search for chocolates
hidden by The Pepperpot Fairies.
(aka his parents!)
It was therefore only natural to name our business
The Pepperpot Catering Company
as a nod to nostalgia and an ode
to where Stephen's love for catering first began.
